Company Overview & History

A century of mechanical excellence — built one project, one generation, and one handshake at a time.

Building Integrity Since 1922

Heffron is a full-service mechanical contractor headquartered in Maryland, serving the DMV — Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. For over 100 years, we have built long-term relationships with the institutions that power our communities — hospitals, universities, government agencies, and the companies advancing science and technology.

Our work spans mechanical construction, preventive maintenance, emergency service, and in-house fabrication. We bring specialized expertise to life sciences, healthcare, mission-critical, government, education, commercial, and industrial markets.
