WVU Martinsburg Periop (IPD)

Martinsburg, West Virginia

Project Overview

WVU Martinsburg is a true IPD project. Heffron teamed up with architects, engineers, WVU, a general contractor, and an electrical contractor to build a 50,000 sq ft expansion and renovation.

Heffron was brought on prior to design and worked through the design process with the team. In this model it’s a shared profit and risk situation where we are guaranteeing the project will turn out successful.

Heffron and the team spent 8 months designing and value engineering the project to hit a target budget. The team was able to reduce over four million dollars in overall cost to allow the project to move forward. The project is set to finish in 2025.
