Chief Executive Officer

George Dunn, Jr., is the third generation in the family business to lead Heffron Company. George has successfully transformed Heffron Company into an industry leader throughout the Washington D.C. area.

His primary mission has been to uphold the intrinsic values that Heffron has maintained for more than 92 years.

George received his undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Notre Dame. He continued on to Georgia Institute of Technology to study mechanical engineering. From there, George completed the S.C.M.P (Small Company Management Program) at Harvard University.

Brian Foster

Brian Foster

Vice President Construction

With more 27 years of mechanical contracting experience in the Washington, D.C. region, Brian has managed projects ranging from a downtown 12-story-office building to the expansion of the main terminal at Dulles International Airport.

For the past six years, Brian has led Heffron Company’s involvement in biotech and pharmaceutical projects along the I-270 corridor in Maryland. These projects include a GMP manufacturing facility and various clean room labs and research facilities.

Brian has a bachelors of science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

His previous work experience includes Poole & Kent and BCC Mechanical.

Colin Dunn

President

Colin Dunn is the fourth generation to work at Heffron Company. During the summers, Colin worked in the field as a Foreman’s assistant before moving into the project management role completing projects for The United States Chamber of Commerce, Ft. Belvoir, and Milestone Business Park.

After graduating from Hampden-Sydney College, where he served as Captain on the lacrosse team, Colin worked for Colliers International in Charleston, SC as a commercial real estate broker. Colin returned to Heffron Company in 2010 and started estimating and assisting project managers with all facets of the mechanical business.

In 2014, Colin graduated from the MBA Program at the University of Notre Dame where he majored in Business Leadership and Entrepreneurship.

Jonathon Boyd

Jonathan Boyd

Service Operations Manager

Jonathan has recently been promoted to Service Operations Manager. In his role, Jonathan works to ensure all the Service technicians are meeting our clients’ demands and Mr. Boyd also self performs

a majority of Heffron’s key customers. Jonanthan has been with Heffron for over twelve years and is factory trained and certified on most all large HVAC equipment. Mr. Boyd is also a member of the Local 602 and plays a key role in our dedicated Service Department


Tarek Geblaoui

Project Manager

Tarek joined the Heffron team two years ago. He has already worked on several projects including:

  • Milestone Building 5
  • George Mason University LSLB
  • Beacon Hotel
  • Ely-Lilly Elanco
  • MedImmune

Tarek graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
