Construction of Human Genome Sciences’ new Large Scale Manufacturing Facility in Rockville, MD. This approx. 300,000 square foot facility consisted of three stories containing six (6) manufacturing suites along with all the support utilities and equipment. Each of the six (6) suites utilized two (2) adjacent mechanical “gray” spaces for utility generation and distribution. The cellar housed the HVAC central plant, purified water system and storage, the biowaste kill system, the process waste neutralization system, and central shipping and receiving / warehouse areas.
